Do you provide scholarships or travel grants?
Unfortunately, HLH does not provide scholarships, stipends, or travel grants. All participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own flights, visas, and accommodations.
When and where is the hackathon happening?
HLH takes place on September 21–22, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea, during Korea Blockchain Week.
Do I need prior experience with Hyperliquid to apply?
No. Some hands-on experience goes a long way. Whether you’ve built on EVM, worked on trading tools, or explored on-chain projects, we’re looking for builders ready to take ideas into execution. We recommend preparing a portfolio/GitHub link to understand your background.
Does it cost anything to join? What’s included?
Registration is free, but attendance is subject to application approval. Once accepted, you’ll enjoy 24‑hour hacker access, onsite mentorship, full meals and drink coverage, branded swag, and a collaborative build environment with technical support.
What can I build during the hackathon?
You’ll choose from our core themes: HIP‑3 and staking infrastructure, DeFi and trading tools, HyperEVM apps, and infrastructure tools like bots, analytics, and SDKs. You can code on any track if your project ships on Hyperliquid.
Who can participate in the Hyperliquid Hackathon?
Developers, designers, founders, students, and ecosystem builders can apply to attend. HLH welcomes teams of all experience levels and skill sets. Your application goes through a quick approval process on Luma.
